Based on a comparison of 148 countries in 2023, India ranked the highest in number of pupils in secondary education with 134,342 '000 followed by China and Indonesia. On the other end of the scale was Liechtenstein with 3.21 '000, Monaco with 3.48 '000 and Cayman Islands with 4.04 '000.
