Based on a comparison of 134 countries in 2023, India ranked the highest in number of pupils in secondary education with 139,098 '000 followed by China and Indonesia. On the other end of the scale was Monaco with 3.42 '000, Cayman Islands with 3.66 '000 and Seychelles with 8.04 '000.
