Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 2.57% in 3Q2022 and an all time low of 0.905% in 3Q2017. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 1.77%.
Average asset yield was 3.77% in 1Q2025, down from 4.99% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 2.26% in 1Q2025, down from 3.47%.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna operated in the first quarter of 2025 with a net interest margin of 1.98% CSOB reached 1.52% and Komercni Banka some 1.64%.
