Historically, the bank’s net interest margin reached an all time high of 4.25% in 4Q2018 and an all time low of 1.70% in 3Q2020. The average margin in the last six quarters amounted to 2.71%.
Average asset yield was 4.67% in 1Q2025, down from 6.57% when compared to the same period last year. On the other hand, cost of funding amounted to 2.67% in 1Q2025, down from 4.20%.
When compared to bank's main peers, Ceska Sporitelna operated in the first quarter of 2025 with a net interest margin of 1.98% CSOB reached 1.52% and Komercni Banka some 1.64%.
