Crude birth rate per 1,000 people rose 54.4% to 15.9 births in Kuwait in 2024, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Kuwait reached an all time high of 45.9 births in 1960 and an all time low of 10.3 births in 2023. When compared to Kuwait's main peers, crude birth rate per 1,000 people in Bahrain amounted to 10.4 births, 26.2 births in Iraq, 13.0 births in Iran and 13.7 births in Saudi Arabia in 2024.

Kuwait has been ranked 76th within the group of 174 countries we follow in terms of crude birth rate per 1,000 people, 27 places above the position seen 10 years ago.
