Based on a comparison of 161 countries in 2024, India ranked the highest in workers' remittances received with USD 111,222 mil followed by Mexico and Philippines. On the other end of the scale was Brunei with USD 0.870 mil, Maldives with USD 5.13 mil and Papua New Guinea with USD 3.10 mil.
