Workers' remittances paid reached USD 401 mil in 2023 in Sri Lanka, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 9.82% more than in the previous year.
Historically, workers' remittances paid in Sri Lanka reached an all time high of USD 1,091 mil in 2019 and an all time low of USD 12.4 mil in 1996.
