Uncovered Non-Performing Loans (As % of Bank Equity)

Based on a comparison of 49 countries in 2Q2025, Macao ranked the highest in uncovered non-performing loans as a share of bank equity with 29.0% followed by Madagascar and Ukraine. On the other end of the scale was Ecuador with -17.7%, Brazil with -13.5% and Dominican Republic with -10.6%.
