Based on a comparison of 79 countries in 2023, Liechtenstein ranked the highest in researchers in R&D per mil of people with 20,047 persons followed by South Korea and Denmark. On the other end of the scale was Uganda with 12.4 persons, Dominican Republic with 24.6 persons and Myanmar with 19.1 persons.
