Based on a comparison of 26 countries in 2014, China ranked the highest in raw silk production with 126,000 tonnes followed by India and Vietnam. On the other end of the scale was France with 0 tonnes, Taiwan with 1.00 tonnes and South Korea with 3.00 tonnes.
