Public Spending on Education (As % of Government Expenditure) in Uganda

Public spending on education as a share of government expenditure reached 8.63% in 2023 in Uganda, according to World Bank. This is 1.70% more than in the previous year.

Historically, public spending on education as a share of government expenditure in Uganda reached an all time high of 20.3% in 2004 and an all time low of 8.21% in 2021.

Uganda has been ranked 48th within the group of 54 countries we follow in terms of public spending on education as a share of government expenditure.
