Based on a comparison of 177 countries in 2023, Afghanistan ranked the highest in primary school starting age with 7.00 years followed by Gambia and Serbia. On the other end of the scale was Mauritius with 5.00 years, Sri Lanka with 5.00 years and Myanmar with 5.00 years.
