Pig iron production reached 1,800 kt in 2015 in Romania, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 10.4% more than in the previous year.
Historically, pig iron production in Romania reached an all time high of 9,557 kt in 1984 and an all time low of 1,467 kt in 2012.
