Non-performing loans as a share of bank loans reached 16.5% in fourth quarter of 2024 in Iraq, according to the National Central Bank. This is 21.6% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, non-performing loans as a share of bank loans in Iraq reached an all time high of 21.0% in 4Q2020 and an all time low of 6.01% in 2Q2015.
