Military Expenditure (As % of GDP)

Based on a comparison of 149 countries in 2023, Ukraine ranked the highest in military expenditure as a share of GDP with 36.7% followed by Lebanon and Algeria. On the other end of the scale was Haiti with 0.054%, Mauritius with 0.141% and Ireland with 0.217%.
