Merchandise Trade (As % of GDP)

Based on a comparison of 170 countries in 2024, Hong Kong ranked the highest in merchandise trade as a share of GDP with 356% followed by Slovenia and United Arab Emirates. On the other end of the scale was Ethiopia with 10.3%, Haiti with 29.2% and Sudan with 29.9%.
