Based on a comparison of 54 countries in 2023, Georgia ranked the highest in literacy rate among adults with 99.7% followed by Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan. On the other end of the scale was Chad with 30.6%, Burkina Faso with 30.0% and Niger with 38.1%.
