Based on a comparison of 38 countries in 2024, Armenia ranked the highest in literacy rate among adults with 99.8% followed by Azerbaijan and Georgia. On the other end of the scale was Burkina Faso with 41.4%, Senegal with 50.4% and Nigeria with 70.4%.
