Lignite coal production reached 9,084 kt in 2015 in Kosovo, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 14.4% more than in the previous year.
Historically, lignite coal production in Kosovo reached an all time high of 9,572 kt in 2012 and an all time low of 7,941 kt in 2014.
Kosovo has been ranked 18th within the group of 35 countries we follow in terms of lignite coal production.
