Interest Payments on Government Debt (As % of Government Expense) in Mexico

Interest payments on government debt as a share of government expense reached 15.8% in 2023 in Mexico, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 6.11% more than in the previous year.

Historically, interest payments on government debt as a share of government expense in Mexico reached an all time high of 64.0% in 1987 and an all time low of 8.77% in 1972.
