Based on a comparison of 172 countries in 2024, Sierra Leone ranked the highest in gross school enrollment in primary education with 162% followed by Rwanda and Malawi. On the other end of the scale was Somalia with 20.9%, Suriname with 95.3% and Niger with 64.7%.
