Foreign debt reached USD 141,850 bil in 2023 in Vietnam, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 3.26% less than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt in Vietnam reached an all time high of USD 146,627 bil in 2022 and an all time low of USD 25.6 bil in 1981.
Vietnam has been ranked 14th within the group of 110 countries we follow in terms of foreign debt.
