Foreign debt reached USD 19,393 bil in 2023 in Uganda, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 4.97% less than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt in Uganda reached an all time high of USD 20,407 bil in 2022 and an all time low of USD 152 bil in 1970.
Uganda has been ranked 49th within the group of 110 countries we follow in terms of foreign debt.
