Foreign debt reached USD 12,162 bil in 2023 in Myanmar, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 2.99% less than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt in Myanmar reached an all time high of USD 13,759 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 164 bil in 1970.
Myanmar has been ranked 63rd within the group of 110 countries we follow in terms of foreign debt.
