Foreign debt reached USD 3,428 bil in 2023 in Afghanistan, according to the National Statistical Office. This is 1.03% more than in the previous year.
Historically, foreign debt in Afghanistan reached an all time high of USD 3,556 bil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 979 bil in 2006.
