Based on a comparison of 110 countries in 2023, China ranked the highest in foreign debt with USD 2,448,050 bil followed by India and Brazil. On the other end of the scale was East Timor with USD 290 bil, Comoros with USD 362 bil and Eritrea with USD 727 bil.
