Energy Use (kg of Oil Equivalent Per Capita)

Based on a comparison of 147 countries in 2023, Qatar ranked the highest in energy use in terms of kg of oil equivalent per capita with 16,428 kg followed by Iceland and Trinidad and Tobago. On the other end of the scale was Yemen with 260 kg, South Sudan with 76.4 kg and Niger with 175 kg.
