Based on a comparison of 177 countries in 2023, Ireland ranked the highest in duration of primary education with 8.00 years followed by Norway and South Africa. On the other end of the scale was Kazakhstan with 4.00 years, Russia with 4.00 years and Slovakia with 4.00 years.
