Based on a comparison of 180 countries in 2022, Brunei ranked the highest in domestic freshwater withdrawals as a percentage of total with 165% followed by Monaco and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. On the other end of the scale was Somalia with 0.455%, Afghanistan with 0.998% and Austria with 1.45%.
