Based on a comparison of 33 countries in 2017, Turkey ranked the highest in Barley - Area (cultivation/harvested/production) with 2,740 1,000 ha followed by Spain and France. On the other end of the scale was Albania with 2.60 1,000 ha, Luxembourg with 6.90 1,000 ha and Cyprus with 14.4 1,000 ha.
