Bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities reached 45.3% in fourth quarter of 2023 in Lithuania, according to the National Central Bank. This is 13.4% more than in the previous quarter.
Historically, bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities in Lithuania reached an all time high of 51.6% in 4Q2022 and an all time low of 18.7% in 3Q2016.
Lithuania has been ranked 56th within the group of 111 countries we follow in terms of bank liquid assets as a share of short-term liabilities.
