Asylum Applicants (As % of Population)

Based on a comparison of 43 countries in 2019, Cyprus ranked the highest in asylum applicants as a percentage of total population with 1.15% followed by Malta and Greece. On the other end of the scale was Chile with 0.004%, Slovakia with 0.004% and Hungary with 0.005%.
