Historically, youth dependency ratio in Indonesia reached an all time high of 78.3% in 1971 and an all time low of 29.6% in 2024. When compared to Indonesia's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Australia amounted to 25.3%, 27.8% in Malaysia, 41.9% in Philippines and 15.8% in Singapore in 2024.
