Historically, youth dependency ratio in Bahrain reached an all time high of 86.9% in 1968 and an all time low of 20.1% in 2024. When compared to Bahrain's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Iran amounted to 27.1%, 28.3% in Kuwait, 12.1% in Qatar and 28.3% in Saudi Arabia in 2024.
