Historically, youth dependency ratio in Turkey reached an all time high of 82.9% in 1968 and an all time low of 26.5% in 2024. When compared to Turkey's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Bulgaria amounted to 17.9%, 17.5% in Greece, 53.9% in Iraq and 27.1% in Iran in 2024.
