Historically, youth dependency ratio in Estonia reached an all time high of 40.1% in 1950 and an all time low of 20.5% in 2024. When compared to Estonia's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Finland amounted to 22.8%, 21.1% in Latvia, 20.1% in Lithuania and 20.3% in Russia in 2024.
