Historically, youth dependency ratio in Bahamas reached an all time high of 74.5% in 1960 and an all time low of 25.5% in 2024. When compared to Bahamas's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Cuba amounted to 22.4%, 40.6% in Dominican Republic, 48.7% in Haiti and 26.8% in USA in 2024.
