Historically, youth dependency ratio in Swaziland reached an all time high of 104% in 1983 and an all time low of 52.0% in 2024. When compared to Swaziland's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Botswana amounted to 40.9%, 48.0% in Lesotho, 72.8% in Mozambique and 34.8% in South Africa in 2024.
