Historically, youth dependency ratio in Liberia reached an all time high of 86.7% in 1984 and an all time low of 62.4% in 2024. When compared to Liberia's main peers, youth dependency ratio in Ghana amounted to 51.5%, 63.0% in Guinea, 64.7% in Ivory Coast and 57.8% in Sierra Leone in 2024.
