Historically, workers' remittances received in Nicaragua reached an all time high of USD 5,246 mil in 2024 and an all time low of USD 3.90 mil in 1977. When compared to Nicaragua's main peers, workers' remittances received in Costa Rica amounted to USD 725 mil, USD 8,488 mil in El Salvador, USD 9,533 mil in Honduras and USD 67,638 mil in Mexico in 2024.
