Workers' remittances paid rose 37.2% to USD 899 mil in Serbia in 2023, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, workers' remittances paid in Serbia reached an all time high of USD 899 mil in 2023 and an all time low of USD 129 mil in 2007. When compared to Serbia's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Bosnia and Herzegovina amounted to USD 137 mil, USD 1,290 mil in Croatia, USD 1,562 mil in Hungary and USD 1,408 mil in Romania in 2023.
