Workers' remittances paid rose 24.4% to USD 1,142 mil in Cyprus in 2023, according to the National Statistical Office.

Historically, workers' remittances paid in Cyprus reached an all time high of USD 1,142 mil in 2023 and an all time low of USD 3.43 mil in 1977. When compared to Cyprus's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Egypt amounted to USD 359 mil, USD 2,983 mil in Greece, USD 2,728 mil in Israel and USD 994 mil in Turkey in 2023.
