Workers' remittances paid rose 105% to USD 193 mil in Ukraine in 2024, according to the National Statistical Office.
Historically, workers' remittances paid in Ukraine reached an all time high of USD 2,036 mil in 2022 and an all time low of USD 1.00 mil in 1996. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Poland amounted to USD 9,216 mil, USD 1,788 mil in Romania and USD 8,271 mil in Russia in 2024.
Ukraine has been ranked 79th within the group of 98 countries we follow in terms of workers' remittances paid, 43 places below the position seen 10 years ago.
