Historically, workers' remittances paid in Morocco reached an all time high of USD 175 mil in 2021 and an all time low of USD 11.4 mil in 1990. When compared to Morocco's main peers, workers' remittances paid in Algeria amounted to USD 179 mil, USD 11.7 mil in Mauritania, USD 563 mil in Spain and USD 67.1 mil in Tunisia in 2023.
