Historically, wood pulp production in India reached an all time high of 3,470,300 kt in 2015 and an all time low of 18,000 kt in 1961. When compared to India's main peers, wood pulp production in Bangladesh amounted to 47,000 kt, 13,272,000 kt in China, 82,000 kt in Pakistan and 2,600 kt in Sri Lanka in 2018.
