Historically, wood fuel production in Turkey reached an all time high of 16,351 '000 cbm in 1980 and an all time low of 4,096 '000 cbm in 2013. When compared to Turkey's main peers, wood fuel production in Bulgaria amounted to 2,848 '000 cbm, 1,065 '000 cbm in Greece, 118 '000 cbm in Iraq and 52.0 '000 cbm in Iran in 2015.
