Historically, wood charcoal production in Peru reached an all time high of 506,600 kt in 2007 and an all time low of 20,257 kt in 2015. When compared to Peru's main peers, wood charcoal production in Bolivia amounted to 36,000 kt, 6,397,000 kt in Brazil, 241,838 kt in Chile and 160,000 kt in Colombia in 2018.
