Historically, wood charcoal production in Poland reached an all time high of 160,000 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 27,000 kt in 2000. When compared to Poland's main peers, wood charcoal production in Czech Republic amounted to 5,601 kt, 30,000 kt in Germany, 60,400 kt in Russia and 185,000 kt in Ukraine in 2018.
