Historically, wood charcoal production in Vietnam reached an all time high of 414,000 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 51,375 kt in 1961. When compared to Vietnam's main peers, wood charcoal production in Cambodia amounted to 37,994 kt, 1,623,733 kt in China, 93,000 kt in Laos and 1,500,131 kt in Thailand in 2018.
