Historically, wood charcoal production in Ukraine reached an all time high of 185,000 kt in 2018 and an all time low of 6,000 kt in 1997. When compared to Ukraine's main peers, wood charcoal production in Poland amounted to 160,000 kt, 1,106 kt in Romania and 60,400 kt in Russia in 2018.
