Historically, wood charcoal production in Colombia reached an all time high of 1,070,000 kt in 2012 and an all time low of 147,000 kt in 2001. When compared to Colombia's main peers, wood charcoal production in Brazil amounted to 6,397,000 kt, 31,033 kt in Peru and 25,000 kt in Venezuela in 2018.
